As the name implies, Stories of Tanggramer is our special edition to tell stories of Tanggram’s customers and merchants all across Australia after they joined Tanggram.

“Coffee Zero” is a Thank You event launched by Tanggram, supporting all Victorians back to life.

Since November, Tanggram would like to support Melbournians with free coffee every week, together with more than 100 best coffee shops in Melbourne CBD and regional areas.

Today the story is about our merchant with Tanggram Coffee Zero — “Come Back to Earth Coffee Brewer”, a small warm café with “craftsman spirit” in Melbourne.

The name of the café “Come Back to Earth” is as impressive as its coffee is.

“Actually, ‘Come back to earth’ is one of our founder Wei’s favorite songs from Mac Miller’s album ‘Swimming’,” Patrick, the partner of “Come Back to Earth Coffee Brewer” blinked with pleasure.

“It is the first café that Wei integrated his visions and essence from his 10-year experience in specialty coffee. Before running this café, Wei had been roasting coffee beans and ‘Come back to earth’ was the first time that he used his own roasted coffee beans.”

“You can also say that Wei’s unique ideas and great passion for coffee is concentrated in the ‘Come Back to Earth Coffee Brewer’.”

At a distance, the charming aroma of roasting coffee beans was wafting from the corner of the café.

The brand of Wei’s roasted coffee beans is “Clockwalker coffee roaster”, which was founded in 2019 and also based in Melbourne.

“We are dedicated to roast specialty coffee green beans and therefore produce consistent and quality coffees. The name of “Clockwalker” means the person walking on the clock, which was inspired from the idea of clock adjustments.” Patrick pointed at the fantastic logo of their coffee roaster — time gears have been turning in the coffee roaster, “Our founder Wei has described roasting as fixing the clock. He always says,

‘Roasting is quite similar to fixing the clock — precision and attention to details are the keys to successful outcome.’

We expect to be able to roast coffee beans exactly the way a clock should. The existence of the specialty coffee is not just for consumers to drink coffee, but also for them to enjoy the coffee, or more than the coffee, like the time and the life.” Patrick took a sip of his coffee slowly and smiled.

“Our concept of coffee is quite simple. We only serve or sell the coffee we are satisfied with to customers,” Patrick handed me with the espresso, “Have a taste please.”

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided. But in “Come Back to Earth Coffee Brewer”, you will never miss that cup of “coffee”.

If coffee is a religion, then Melbourne is where caffeine addicts come to worship. Coffee is synonymous with Melbourne, or Melbourne is synonymous with coffee? Either way, the two go together, curing all the people here. With that in mind, come to take a sip of coffee from “Coffee Zero” and enjoy the unique story this city provides.
