As the name implies, Stories of Tanggramer is our special edition to tell stories of Tanggram’s customers, merchants, and employees all across Australia after they joined Tanggram.

I always thought Tanggramers are not only our users and merchants but also myself. Tanggramers are every single one of us play a role in this fintech ecosystem.

Today the story is about Hue, a member of the financial team at Tanggram.

Now he’s about five yards in front of me and typing with his nimble fingers.

I’d say, working at Tanggram can really change people, skill levels and manners.

The very first time that I met with Hue was a year ago, when he first joined Tanggram for an internship. It was a hard time when the pandemic just started, many projects were suspended and people were still sorting out the circumstances. Hue was fresh with little experience on how to quickly put himself together in a new environment.

I was asking him about his first experience at Tanggram the other day to prepare for this episode of Story of Tanggramer.

“Working at Tanggram is a novel experience. I’ve got a chance to study in every team for a while in my internship. I got to know my strengths and disadvantages before I started my job. I’d really appreciate it, it specified my pathway to the team I’m most dedicated to.”

“There’s a workplace philosophy at Tanggram. Make the decision, take the consequence. There are no strict rules but people all know what to do, and how to do it fast and solid. In Tanggram, you can feel people make their decisions with professionalism.”

I admired, Tanggram’s culture has always been unique and motivated.

“Victoria had shut itself for a long time. The keys I found during the pandemic were business alignment and communications.”

“Working from home means you can not always receive feedback from your colleagues instantly. And it would slow you down. And sometimes, you don’t even know what others are doing. At Tanggram, there are tacit understandings between people. We update what we have done during the day and every Monday, we’ll have a morning meeting where every employee participates. All the teams get updated with what’s on at the moment and what’ll be the target this week. You see, we are of one mind.” Hue said.

“There are only tens of people but Tanggram is multinational. People with different cultures working and sharing their thoughts together. We combine our boundless creativity and motivations together to create powerful designs. Just like putting fragments of tangrams together, we are the footstones of a masterpiece.”

“I find a good business is not only business itself but also everything it contains, its users, its employees, and the society. Grow steadily like a tree, to stand in the storm and don’t break. This is what I’ve learned in Tanggram.”

Indeed, this is what every one of us in Tanggram had learned.

At Tanggram, we dedicated ourselves to one mission, turning everyone’s small dream into big wealth.

At the finish of this writing, I looked at Hue again and behind him through the window, I saw the snowy winter light scattered in the office, dappled though warm.
